I recently brought this beautiful handmade paper from an online paper maker. The paper is a cotton based paper with inclusions of silk, flower petals and grass. It’s so light and soft that it could easily be mistaken for a light fabric.
A few weeks back I blogged about my new hare linocut that I printed on this beautiful paper and after receiving such lovely comments from customers online and at craft fairs I decided to reprint a few other linocuts on the same paper.
I must say I love the way they have come out and I am so pleased with the results. The different arrangements of petals and leaves really do make these prints even more one of a kind.
I decided not to print Mr Fox on this paper but instead on a different handmade paper. This paper is more like the paper we all know but with different grasses running through it and I think this suits the character of my print better.
